Installing IQLauncher (Desktop Access to roommaster)

You will need IQLauncher if you are:

• Setting up roommaster on a new computer
• Reinstalling roommaster
• Accessing the roommaster desktop application for the first time
• Replacing or upgrading a workstation

IQLauncher is a small download that allows the roommaster desktop applications to launch and connect properly.

If you would like to download the file prior to your Support appointment, please do. Otherwise, we would be happy to assist with the download during the remote session.

Please Note:

Downloading IQLauncher is only the first step of the installation process. After the download has been completed, a Support Technician will need to remote into the computer to complete the required configuration.

To schedule your installation or configuration session, please send us:

• The best date and time for the appointment
• Your time zone
• The name of the person who will be available during the installation
• A direct phone number where we can reach you during the appointment

Whenever possible, please ensure the person available during the appointment has Administrator access to the computer so we can complete the installation and configuration successfully.

In many cases, clients installing IQLauncher may also need OwnCloud installed. OwnCloud is used for downloading CSV reports and accessing shared files from roommaster.
