Expedia (EQC)

Expedia Quick Connect is a new offering for roomMaster users. Expedia.com is the world's leading online travel site, helping millions of travelers per month easily plan and book travel.

The Expedia Quick Connect (EQC) interface between roomMaster and Expedia has the following:

• Inventory synchronization (Base and Flexible Inventory)
• Rates
• Closed for Arrival and Closed for Departure Synchronization
• Reservation synchronization (New, Modify, Cancel)
• Booking Confirmations (roomMaster confirmation number sent to Expedia)

Getting Started - Three Easy Steps

1. Contact your local InnQuest Software representative to sign-up. The sign-up is mostly done online and there is no long-term commitment or contract. There is simply a very low monthly and transaction cost.
2. Once you have signed up, you will then contact your local marketing manager to change your system from manual (Fax or Email) to the EQC system.
3. The marketing manager will then in turn contact the InnQuest Software support person and we will install, setup and train you on the system.

Installation

When changing from a manual process to an EQC process, you need to know the following:

1. What your base allocation commitments are to Expedia for each room type.
2. Do you want to transmit Flexible Inventory (Inventory over base commitments).
3. What your commission (Net Rate) is with Expedia and have a rate code setup or derived so that WorldLink can transmit it.
4. Will you be handling Virtual Card Numbers or will be attaching a Direct Bill / City Ledger account to each Expedia reservation.
