🛠️Receipt Printer Small Font Fix 

 

This guide addresses issues with the receipt printer displaying an unusually small font.

Prerequisites

• Supported Driver: This fix is based on using the APD5 (Advanced Printer Driver 5) for your Epson printer. Please check the following link to verify the current printer driver.

Procedure: Adjusting Printer Settings

Follow these steps to configure the paper size and margins within Windows' printer settings:

Step 1: Access Printer Settings

• Open Printers & scanners. 
• Select the Epson printer currently in use.
• Select printing preferences 

Step 2: Navigate to Advanced Settings

• In the Printing Preferences dialog, look for a tab or button labeled Advanced settings.

Step 3: Configure Margins and Auto Adjust

• Select layout
• check the box for the Top Margin and keep it at zero
• Check the box for Left Margin and keep it at zero
• Uncheck the box for "automatically adjust and print" 
• Select Set to save.

Step 4: Define User Defined Paper Size 

• Select "User Defined Paper"
• Set the "Paper name" 
• Adjust the Width to 3 inches.
• Adjust the Height to 6 inches.
• Press "Register"
• Close.
