Reprint Options / No Make

The Reprint Options / No Make screen is where you can reprint kitchen orders, by item or course only, or cancel printing of an order. You can also define where to reprint the ticket.

Select Courses to Include...

Use the check boxes to apply any of the options to a specific course or classifications. Each item should be assigned a classification. The classification categories are hard coded and cannot be changed. Check All Courses/Classifications to apply one of the options to all courses and classifications.

Send Course Notifications Only

In many fine dining restaurants, the server takes the entire order for the guest at once, including all courses, then advises the kitchen when to prepare each course. The Send Course Notification Only will send the kitchen a ticket with the heading selected from the drop down box at the top of the window and a line item for each course selected.

Resend Ordered Items for Courses Selected

Use this option to resend an order to the kitchen with each individual item from the ticket for the courses or classifications selected. Again the note selected from the drop down box will be included on the kitchen ticket. Use this if the original order was not dropped, the ticket was misplaced, or a server may resend the order if items have changed.

Set all Items to not Drop (No Make)

Selecting this option will hold the order without sending it to the kitchen. Use this function BEFORE placing the order on hold so it is not printed in the kitchen. This option is used if an order has been given to the kitchen verbally, but needs to entered in the system or during training.
